10 BEST INSPIRATIONAL BOOKS FOR MINDSET & PERSONAL GROWTH
In the past few years, I’ve become a bit of a bookworm. Sometimes I can’t believe myself how much I’ve already read. And yet, I always keep on adding new titles to my wish list as other recommendations come in.
Personal development goes hand in hand with business development. That’s why I’m always reading some kind of book. Usually, as soon as I finish one, I start the next one on my list pretty much the next day.
And now I feel the need to write another post about some of the best books I’ve read more recently.
The books I’m about to recommend to you have helped me shape my mindset in more than one way. They’ve helped me create better habits and routines. And they’ve inspired me to keep going for my dreams during times I felt a tad discouraged.
I hope they do the same for you!
1. A HAPPY POCKET FULL OF MONEY by David Cameron Gikandi
2. YOU ARE A BADASS by Jen Sincero
3. THANK & GROW RICH by Pam Grout
4. A COURSE IN MIRACLES MADE EASY by Alan Cohen
5. WIRE YOURSELF FOR WEALTH by Laura Leigh Clarke
6. THE SUBTLE ART OF NOT GIVING A F*CK by Mark Manson
7. REAL ARTISTS DON’T STARVE by Jeff Goins
8. THE SCIENCE OF GETTING RICH by Wallace Wattles
9. MADEMOISELLE CHANEL by C.W. Gortner
10. PARIS LETTERS by Janice MacLeod
As you’ll notice, the last two books are not in the personal development genre, but I found them extremely inspiring.
The biography of Coco Chanel was absolutely delightful to read. It has made me look at this fashion icon in a whole new light. Even though I don’t really consider myself to be a fashion fanatic, the story of how this woman created her empire made me believe that we can all do anything we put our minds to.
If someone with her history can do it, we can all certainly do it for ourselves too.
“Paris Letters” is also different from the rest of the books on my list. Janice is someone I felt I could really relate to. She’s a woman who quit her boring job to pursue her dream of doing what she loves while travelling. Who doesn’t love a good success story like this one?
Alright, that’s it from me for now. I would love to hear some of your favourites. What were some of the best books you’ve ready recently and why? Comment below to let me know.
