As if there weren’t enough reasons to love Squarespace, it’s still getting better and better! The folks over at Squarespace are continually adding more awesome features to make the life of an entrepreneur easier.

Ever wanted to sell subscription products on your site? Well now you can easily do that on Squarespace with their new built-in feature.

What this means is that you can sell things like subscription boxes (for cosmetics, food products etc.), ongoing services or memberships and bill your customers automatically. No more sending manual invoices every month for these types of packages.

This feature is also helpful to coaches (or any other service-based entrepreneurs) who offer payment plans for their services.

A few things to consider:

  • You’ll need the Commerce Advanced Plan to have this feature

  • You’ll need to enable Customer Accounts in your account

  • You’ll need to set up Stripe as that is the only payment option for now

Once you have all of this in place, you’ll be ready to set up subscription products or services.

Your customers will be able to save their checkout details and will be charged automatically whenever their subscription renews. They’ll be able to cancel their subscriptions at any time giving them peace of mind.

Other tips directly from Squarespace:

  • Customer Accounts work best on templates that automatically display a Sign In link.

  • If you only sell subscriptions, you may want to pick a template where you can hide the shopping cart icon.
