THE FORMULA FOR WRITING A POWERFUL SALES PAGE WITH EASE

How to write a powerful sales page

Creating your product or service is only half the battle. Without a really awesome sales page, you won’t make many sales.

It doesn’t matter how amazing your offer is, if you don’t create a compelling sales page to showcase exactly why it’s amazing, it will get passed over.

The goal of a sales page is to sell your product or service (obviously). So what you want is for people to read your sales page and get so excited about what you’re selling that they think to themselves, “Wow, I need this right now”!

You may think it’s difficult to accomplish if you’re not an expert copywriter. But the truth is, all you need to do is follow a simple 5-step formula in order to increase conversions and make sales!

1. CONNECT WITH YOUR IDEAL CLIENT & THEIR PAIN POINT

In the first part of your sales page, you should find a way to describe the problem that your ideal client is going through in their words.

Specifically, use the pain points you hear your clients using. If you don’t know what they are, survey your audience to find out. Ask them what they’re currently struggling with and what type of solutions they’re looking for.

Get into their minds as much as you can so you can show them that you understand exactly what they’re feeling.

It may be hard for you to accept but no one wants to hear about us unless they think there’s something in it for them. So don’t share your own story just yet.

2. HELP THEM VISUALIZE WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE TO HAVE THIS SOLVED

Paint a perfect picture for your client. Share in details what life would be like once they have this problem solved. Explain that you not only know how to help them but you’ve been there too.

Make them aware that you know exactly what it feels like to be in their shoes and you know exactly how to solve this situation.

3. INTRODUCE YOUR OFFER

Now it’s time to introduce your product or service that you have, which will be the answer to their prayers.

Share details of your offer, explain why it works and build credibility. You want to provide as much information as possible here. List what’s included, what they’ll learn or receive and all other details.

If you have client testimonials, share them as well to present social proof.

Now share your own story and how you overcame this problem before. Help them understand why you’re the right person to help them solve the same problem or why your product works.

Make it obvious why your offer is the answer that will help them to move past their obstacle.

4. CALL TO ACTION

Now that you’ve explained the whole thing in detail, it’s time to provide a call to action. Insert a “Buy It Now” or “Sign Up Here” button or link for them to click on. Make sure you provide the price of this offer right before this button so they know exactly what they’ll be paying.

5. RECAP, QUESTIONS & CALL TO ACTION AGAIN

The last step is to recap everything again in slightly different format. Remind them what they’re getting and insert another call to action button (it can be the same one as above).

You should also provide an option for them to contact you at this point if they have any questions. Make yourself as available as possible so they can get everything they need in order to go ahead and make that purchase.

That’s it! If you follow this simple formula, you’ll have a high-converting sales page in no time.
